Goddamn, I’m a Handsome Man!
Please accept my apology for barfing in your car
I probably didn’t need those last shots
Did I really grab your brother’s ass
And kick your fuzzy cat?
I was out of line – even if he’s hot
I went into the bathroom
Looked in the mirror
And saw myself for what I really am
I went into the bathroom
Looked in the mirror
And saw myself for what I really am
Goddamn, goddamn, goddamn I’m a handsome man!
Goddamn, goddamn, goddamn I’m a handsome man!
Last night I had some ice cream,
Pizza, and rib-tips, with White Castle, for dessert
Then I imagined all the people who would kiss these
Greasy lips, as I rolled around without a shirt
I went into the bathroom
Looked in the mirror
And saw myself for what I really am
I went into the bathroom
Looked in the mirror
And saw myself for what I really am
Goddamn, goddamn, goddamn I’m a handsome man!
Goddamn, goddamn, goddamn I’m a handsome man!

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
